Ann Bainbridge Frymier, Miami University professor of communication and associate dean of the graduate school, is the recipient of the 2012 Elizabeth G. Andersch Award from Ohio University's School of Communication Studies. The award is presented to distinguished members of the communication discipline to acknowledge excellence in scholarship, teaching, leadership and mentorship.
"Third Nature: Reconsidering Boundaries between Nature and Culture," a Miami University Humanities Center symposium, will be held 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, in 212 MacMillan Hall.
