The Miami University department of music will present "Grand Night: The Big Band Era," at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 23 and 24, in Hall Auditorium. "Grand Night" returns for its third year, featuring more than 100 vocalists and instrumentalists in an evening of song and dance, showcasing hit songs from artists such as Duke Ellington, George Gershwin and Cole Porter.

There are many offices that support faculty on campus, but the detailed analysis that happens at the Statistical Consulting Center (SCC) may offer some of the most precise support available. Today, take a Miami Moment with Michael Hughes, who has managed the center since 1988.
The office of university communications and marketing is developing a large online database of photos and documents. This will both help the department better manage the large amount of images handled by the division and enable easier access to the images by the community.

Friday, March 23, is the deadline for students to withdraw from full semester courses or to change to audit status. After March 23, students may not withdraw from a full semester course unless a petition is approved by the Interdivisional Committee of Advisers. Faculty should drop non-attending students with a grade of "W" through close of business, Friday, March 23.
