John Kiss to receive Benjamin Harrison Medallion

John Kiss, Distinguished Professor and chair of botany, will receive Miami University's prestigious Benjamin Harrison Medallion during the May 5 commencement ceremony. The announcement was made during faculty assembly April 11.

More than 15,000 students to participate in spring semester course evaluations online

It is expected that 15,213 Miami University undergraduate students among all campuses will participate at least once during the spring semester online pilot course evaluations.


Opening Minds through Art holds auction and exhibition

Opening Minds through Art (OMA), a Miami University Scripps Gerontology Center program, is holding its 4th annual exhibition of artwork created by people living with dementia, April 13-May 4. The opening of the exhibition is 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 13, at the Oxford Community Arts Center (OCAC), 10 S. College Avenue.


Tests begin on bus route to Wal-Mart

Miami University's parking and transportation services office began a trial bus route to the Oxford Wal-Mart on College Corner Pike (U.S. 27) April 11 (see PDF below). If the test route is well received, the route will become permanent in fall 2012.
