Ohio Governor John Kasich has named Robert (Bob) Shroder as a new voting member of Miami University's board of trustees.
For nine out of the last 14 years, Miami University's Gamma Gamma chapter of Pi Sigma Epsilon in the Farmer School of Business has been named the top chapter in the nation. This year they continued their winning streak.
One of two teams from the Miami University James Lewis Family Mock Trial team placed fourth in the nation at the American Mock trial Association National Championship Tournament held in Minneapolis April 13-15.

On Monday, April 16, University Senate heard a report from the fiscal priorities and budget planning committee. Senate received the curriculum report and Senate committee minutes on the consent calendar and approved the April 9, 2012, minutes.
The Goggin Ice Center's annual Spring Ice Show, featuring skaters of all ages, will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, and at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Goggin Ice Center.
