Miami University senior Alexa Pohl, a zoology major and molecular biology minor, is one of only two students internationally to receive the Krishnan-Ang Studentship from Trinity College, University of Cambridge, U.K. The studentship is granted to exceptional overseas students in the natural sciences who have been accepted to the University of Cambridge to pursue research for a doctoral degree. It provides full funding (tuition, fees, a stipend and travel costs) for three years of doctoral study.
Miami University's America Reads, America Counts and Adopt A School programs were awarded the Jefferson Awards for Public Service Certificate of Excellence.
Miami University junior Daniel Ruffley is one of 10 students awarded a 2012 R. Gene Richter Scholarship from the Institute of Supply Management (ISM).

The Miami University Chamber Singers, conducted by William Bausano, will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, April 21, in Hall Auditorium. Chamber Singers alumni from the past 25 years will join the ensemble, performing works from 18th and 19th century England and from contemporary American and European composers.
