Six Miami University students receive Fulbright Scholarship

Four Miami University seniors and two 2011 Miami graduates have been awarded 2012-2013 Fulbright English Teaching Assistantships to various countries around the world. Miami seniors or recent graduates have won Fulbright awards to research or teach overseas 11 of the last 13 years. This year has the highest number of recipients.

Team Red Blade wins MU Interdisciplinary Technology Development Challenge

Team "Red Blade" was the winner of Miami's 2011-2012 Interdisciplinary Technology Development Challenge (MUITDC), "Realizing Tomorrow's Technologies: Focus on Ohio Third Frontier." Red Blade is an autonomous robot guided by differential GPS built with a platform that can plow snow or mow grass.


StrEATs brings food to on-the-go Miami students, faculty and staff

Miami University students, faculty and staff traveling across campus can enjoy a dining option on wheels called strEATS - developed and designed in part by students. Easy to spot, it's the vehicle with the Miami-inspired red and white design and can be tracked by following @Mustreats on Twitter.

  • After close of business on Friday, April 27, per university policy (Student Handbook, 1.3.B), graduate level Incomplete (IG) grades and undergraduate level Incomplete (IU) grades from the fall 2011 semester will be converted to failing (F or Y) grades on student academic records. For more information, contact registrar@muohio.edu.
  • Miami University's board of trustees will meet 9 a.m. Friday, April 27 at the Marcum Conference Center. The board will convene for an executive session, followed by the public business session.
