Miami University has issued summary suspensions against the local Phi Kappa Tau and Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternities following a weekend incident in which some members reportedly lighted and fired fireworks at each other's houses.
Miami University Provost Bobby Gempesaw announced that Cathy Bishop-Clark, chair of computer information technology, and Jim Oris, associate provost and Graduate Dean, will co-chair the Regional Campus Implementation Committee.
The search committee for the director, Armstrong Student Center, is hosting four finalists on campus and invites the campus community to meet and question the candidates, as well as provide feedback to the search committee.
Updates for the Miami University Offices and Services Directory, Academic Year 2012-2013, are due Friday, Aug. 31. Submit updates to UniversityDirectory@MiamiOH.edu.
