Miami University's annual technology conference Digital Expo 2012 runs Thursday, Sept. 27, through Saturday, Sept. 29. The expo showcases audio essays, digital design, digital archiving and interactive media projects from Miami faculty and students, as well as from area school classroom teachers.
Applications are now being accepted from Miami seniors for the 2013 Joanna Jackson Goldman Memorial Prize. One of the largest awards of its kind, the Goldman Prize provides approximately $30,000 to support an outstanding Miami graduate's pursuit of a self-designed scholarly service or creative project.

Faculty Recital
Miami University faculty Michele Gingras, Harvey Thurmer and Heather MacPhail present a performance of "Fun music for violin, clarinet and piano." The joint faculty recital takes place at 8 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26, in Souers Recital Hall, located in the Center of Performing Arts. Admission is free and open to the public.
