Staff and faculty are encouraged to read about the services and policies that have been created in recent years to improve communications in emergencies and otherwise enhance the learning and working environment.
The Miami University Airport is sponsoring a Fly-In Saturday, Sept. 8. The event is an opportunity for pilots based at other airports to fly to Oxford for the day to participate in local activities and for local residents to visit their community airport to observe flight operations.
Faculty Assembly will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, in 322 McGuffey. The Distinguished Service and Distinguished Scholar Awards will be presented.

President David Hodge invites the Miami University community to his annual address 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, in Hall Auditorium. The focus of the address, "Charting the Future: Creating the Miami 2020 Plan," provides the launch point for a collective effort to define Miami's future. All are welcome to attend the address, also to be streamed online. A printed version of the address will be available shortly after the event at www.MiamiOH.edu/president.
