Miami University President David Hodge, in his annual address, Sept. 6, invited the Miami community to be part of a framework for enhancing Miami's future. He announced the creation of a Miami 2020 Plan that supports Miami's core values but makes room for new ways to address those values in an ever-changing environment.
The Center for Business Excellence (CBE) at Miami University's Farmer School of Business is launching the Duke Energy/CBE Inter-University Case Competition during the 2012-13 academic year. This program has been funded by a $175,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation Board, in partnership with Duke Energy executives.
"Echoes from the Baltic," a lecture and recital with the Miami University Latvian Choir, will be presented by Chris Walsh, senior music education major, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, in 222 Presser Hall. Walsh established and conducts the choir to showcase the choral culture of Latvia.

PNC Bank, N.A. will host a grand opening at its new branch on Miami University's Oxford campus 9:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10, Shriver Center.
