Crime Alert: Breaking and entering at Alumni Hall

Miami University police report that a male staff member told them that at approximately 11:19 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, he entered a basement room at Alumni Hall and encountered a male suspect with items near him that would indicate he was attempting to commit a theft.

Ricardo Averbach and Thomas Garcia (both music) were interviewed on "Good Morning, Bulgaria" about two concerts they were performing in Bulgaria. The concerts, in the "Concertmasters" Concert Series in Bulgaria Hall in Sofia and with the Sliven Philharmonic, were recorded and will be televised in Europe Jan. 18.
