On Jan. 28, Miami University Senate heard three reports: (1) New Academic Calendar and Winter Term Planning, (2) Sustainability at Miami, (3) Miami University 2020 Plan Coordinating Team.
A film screening of "The Corporation" will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, in 212 MacMillan Hall, followed by a discussion led by Kevin Armitage, associate professor, Western program. The film is part of the Robert E. Strippel Memorial Continuing Dialogue on Justice and Human Rights Program sponsored by the Center for American and World Cultures.
Tiffany Willoughby Herard, assistant professor of African American Studies at University of California-Irvine, headlines this year's Race, Class, Gender, Sexuality Symposium 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, in the Shriver Center multipurpose room.
