Miami aims toward zero waste: Introduces single-stream recycling pilot program

When the new academic year begins in August, the entire Oxford campus will start using co-located single-stream recycling and landfill trash bins. In preparation for the campuswide implementation, a single-stream recycling pilot project is being conducted this month.

Symposium on medical humanities Feb. 21-22

A symposium on medical humanities will be held Thursday and Friday, Feb. 21-22, in 2 Upham Hall. The symposium, sponsored by the Humanities Center, "will explore the connective tissues between the sciences and the humanities, engaging faculty and students in discussions about the role of the humanities in medical education," said Tim Melley, director of the Humanities Center.
