Music and Power Conference: Renowned violinist Bin Huang performs

An international conference on "Music and Power," organized and sponsored by the Havighurst Center for Russian and Post-Soviet Studies, will be held at Miami University Feb. 28-March 2. As part of the conference, a Gala Concert will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, March 1, in Hall Auditorium, featuring internationally renowned Chinese violinist Bin Huang performing with the Miami University Symphony Orchestra, directed by Ricardo Averbach.

John Dolibois to speak about his experiences as an interrogator during the Nuremberg War Trials

John Dolibois Miami (Miami '42), former U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg, will present "Recollections of an Interrogator" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in 322 McGuffey Hall. His talk is part of the annual Genocide and Holocaust Education Program sponsored by the Center for American and World Cultures.
