New agreement with McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital to streamline level of health care for Miami students

A new agreement with McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital will offer an increased level of service at Miami University's student health center while making access to the more extensive resources of the hospital easier for students. Students also will see expanded hours of operation at the center this fall.

As the Miami University baseball program ushers in its 100th season in 2013-14, the RedHawks embark on this historic year under new head coach Danny Hayden. Hayden was named as Miami's 16th head baseball coach July 23.

Graham Bowling appointed new student trustee

Miami University junior Graham Bowling is the newest student trustee appointed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich to the university's board of trustees. He's a business management major and marketing minor from Delaware.

$1 million Applegate bequest creates scholarships for Farmer Business School students

A $1 million estate gift from San Diego residents Fred (1967, MBA 1968) and Laura Applegate will provide scholarship support to generations of future students within Miami University's Farmer School of Business.

    IT services implemented a new "email hygiene tool" that should help control the flow of spam and phishing messages into the Miami mail system. Among other capabilities, the system attempts to warn users when the underlying HTTP link and the clickable text links differ. Learn more online.
