Miami students engage in leadership program at national conference

Two Miami University students, Calvin Davis, a senior marketing major, and Danae' Tolle, a senior psychology major with management and child studies minors, received special honors at the 26th annual Southwestern Black Student Leadership Conference (SBSLC) January 16-19. Davis and Tolle were invited to take part in the Charles E. Williams Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI).


Michael Aldridge, ACLU of Kentucky, on "Fairness ordinances" Feb. 6

Michael Aldridge, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Kentucky, will present "Fairness Ordinances: Challenges and Successes" at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, in 212 MacMillan Hall.


In memoriam: Gilbert E. Pacey

Gilbert E. Pacey, 62, died Wednesday, Jan. 29. Professor emeritus with the department of chemistry and biochemistry at Miami University, he retired in 2010 after 31 years.
