Student Teachers

Fall 2018 student teachers should contact Lesley to get registered for the course associated with the 12-credit field experience. Spring 2019 student teachers must have their applications submitted this semester.

Field Experience Course Sequence Revision

Beginning Spring 2019 and continuing in subsequent semesters, all students seeking the Mild/Moderate license through Miami and who also hold a current license in another field, must enroll in one hour of field supervision, 605F, along with their EDP 591 course registration. Current students planning to enroll in EDP 591 this summer should follow their plan and not postpone their enrollment in this class to a future term. This course revision will keep Miami in accordance with field hour requirements per the Ohio Department of Education.
