How to Apply

Candidates must apply and be accepted by both the Graduate School and the Department of Educational Leadership.

Other minimum entrance requirements:

  • Completion of a graduate degree
  • Possession of a professional principal license

1.  Submit an electronic Graduate School application as a continuing non-degree seeking student, including a $20 non-refundable application fee.

*When answering the question, "Are you applying to a graduate degree program?" click NO.  This will direct you to the non-degree seeking application.

2. Please send the following materials directly to the Department of Educational Leadership:

a completed Superintendent License Information form;

  • two professional references (one from the superintendent who will serve as your mentor); and
  • proof of a principal's license

Additional information about the application

Submit two references from colleagues, teachers, or peers who can attest to your professional work, potential for successful graduate study, and potential for making a positive contribution as a leader in an educational context.
