Creativity City

In 2003, Marci Segal started World Creativity and Innovation Week (WCIW) to celebrate creativity in everyday life. WCIW is celebrated around the world from April 15 to April 21 or, in other words, from Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday to Earth Day.
We’ve celebrated WCIW at Miami since 2014 but in 2017, creatives from Igoodea, Miami Entrepreneurship and other campus creatives came together to build a week-long Creativity City on the front lawn of the Farmer School of Business. Students live and share their creativity with games, activities and teachings about applied creativity and innovation.
If you are interested in learning more about Creativity City and how you can get involved, please email Lizzie Luh, president of Igoodea, at luhet@miamioh.edu.
