
Tech Entrepreneurship Fellowship Program





The Tech Entrepreneurship Fellowship program (TechESP) combines two complementary programs into a single degree path, and provides special benefits to students who are accepted and enroll into the program.
TechESP fellows complete
- the Emerging Technology in Business and Design major (applied concentration) offered by the Department of Emerging Technology in Business and Design (ETBD) in the College of Creative Arts; and
- the co-major in Entrepreneurship.offered by the Department of Entrepreneurship in the Farmer School of Business.
Fellows accrue skills welcome in almost any twenty-first-century business environment. g
Benefits of the program
Fellowship benefits include:
- Opportunity to create teams during various Miami University special events, e.g., Techstars StartUp Weekend, Social Innovation Weekend, Technology Innovation and Commercialization.
- Guaranteed admission to as many as three off-campus Miami University programs, e.g., Digital Innovation programs, European Innovation Academy, Creative Entrepreneurial Consulting Design Your Life, Invention and Innovation: Walt Disney World, and/or London Interactive Design.
- An off-campus weekend event (in a regional U.S. city) for networking with entrepreneurs.
- Guaranteed participation in the Altman Summer Internship program.
- Regular access to coaching from a network of practicing entrepreneurs, investors, technologists, and business leaders.
- One-to-one coaching for resume optimization.
- Progress through the program with a cohort of student colleagues who share interests and professional goals.
- A digital badge certifying completion of the program.
