Finance Majors and Minors

Finance Majors

Upon completion of the appropriate finance courses, and upon meeting specified non-academic qualifications you may qualify to sit for professional designations and licenses in investments, banking, insurance, and real estate.

Finance

Teaches theoretical and practical aspects of financial management. The general objectives are to teach the principles of finance, to explain how financial techniques can solve some of society's most important problems, and to prepare you for future responsibilities in financial management.

Real Estate

Teaches theoretical and practical aspects of real estate, including development, investment, financing, and management. The general objectives are to teach the principles of real estate, to explain unique aspects of real estate as an asset class for ownership and investment, and to prepare you for future responsibilities in real estate.

Finance Minors

The Finance Department offers a minor in Finance and Real Estate. 

Submit an FSB Change of Program form to apply for one of these minors!

The Finance minor is only available as a course of study to non-business majors (enrollment limited). If a student has two majors, one in and one out of business, these minors are unavailable to that student.
