Information Systems Minor

The minor in Information Systems is designed to give students, who major in other disciplines, a strong background in computer technology and information systems. IS graduates are actively recruited for positions in a number of industries including: consulting, manufacturing, and banking. Business Analytics Minor

Business Analytics is the latest battleground for corporations seeking to gain competitive advantage or simply to survive in a fiercely competitive business environment. It can be roughly divided into two disciplines: descriptive and predictive analytics. Descriptive analytics allow managers to react quickly to rapidly changing circumstances as the need arises. The predictive analyst helps firms to anticipate customer needs, create opportunities, and beat their competition. Management of Information Technologies Minor

Modern digital enterprises have created a strong demand for individuals who understand the contributions of information technologies to their success in a rapidly changing economics landscape that is global in scope. This unique minor meets this demand by addressing the needs of two distinct groups of students—non-business majors with a strong background in computing or engineering who need a firm grasp of important business concepts and practices business students who need a solid foundation in computing or engineering technologies.
