Experiential Learning

According to estimates from IBM quality annually costs the US around 3.1 trillion dollars

The Center for Analytics and Data Science hosts experiential learning projects in which students are exposed to real world data to further develop their analytical and data wrangling skills outside of a traditional academic setting. Students must learn to apply processes of cleaning and truly understanding the data in order to tackle difficulties such as missing data values, incorrect coding, and multiple data sources. Solving real problems with real data better prepares our students for careers as analytics professionals.

Partners are integral to the success of the Center for Analytics and Data Science. Experiential Learning Partners, who work with our students on projects, gain valuable insights and answers, while our students benefit from the experience of working with business leaders and the opportunity to practice what we teach.
