Greater Academic Support For Faculty
The retiring baby boom generation, coupled with a decline in new doctoral candidates, forces Miami to compete for new faculty from a declining pool of applicants. The school seeks to establish endowed positions to attract and retain outstanding faculty at all ranks: Endowed Chairs, Distinguished Professorships, Faculty Fellowships and funds for Faculty Excellence.
Endowed Scholarship Support for International Study
At the Farmer School of Business, students receive a broad-based Miami University education paired with a business curriculum that prepares them for leadership in a pluralistic, challenging environment. To equip them further for such leadership, we offer many international opportunities to enhance their educational experience. The majority of students who don't participate in an international program cite expense as the number one reason. It is our desire for 100% of Farmer School students to participate in at least one international experience.
Farmer School of Business Innovation Fund
The Farmer School of Business is continually seeking new and exciting ways to engage students in meaningful ways. To achieve this we must continue to be innovative. Unrestricted funds allow us to upgrade facilities, enhance and create new educational programs and improve an already challenging and cutting edge education.
