Biography

Dr. Julie Alexander (aka Dr. A) teaches BUS 102: Foundations of Business Communication in the First Year Integrated Core. She has taught writing and composition in higher education for seventeen years, and has extensive experience with hybrid and fully online instruction. She is passionate about visual design, creative classroom activities, and working with first-year students.

Outside of the university, Dr. A is a freelance marketing and communications consultant for businesses and nonprofits. She is a professional tarot card reader, a makeup enthusiast, and a fan of pro-wrestling.
