Dr. Wei (Vivian) Chen is currently a visiting assistant professor in Department of Information Systems and Analytics in the Farmer School of Business at Miami University. She earned her Ph.D. degree in Computational Mathematics with concentration on statistics at University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2018. After graduation, she taught statistical courses in UNCG as a lecturer. Her research area includes regression and spectral density estimation of time series and random processes, and finding the hidden periodicities or cycles with long-lasting data.
