Moul Honored as "Outstanding Professor"

April 2015

Chuck Moul, Associate Professor of Economics, has been awarded as the “Outstanding Professor” by Miami University’s Associated Student Government (ASG).

The award recognizes faculty for excellence in teaching. All university seniors are given the opportunity to submit essays of nomination which are then considered by an ASG selection committee. Criteria for the award include interaction with students outside the classroom, challenging students to think critically, and developing and fostering students’ love of learning.

36 professors were nominated this year. Among them were six Farmer School faculty members: David Chappell, Deborah Fletcher, William Moser, Charles Moul, David Shrider and Jan Taylor.

All 36 of this year’s nominees were recognized at the Outstanding Professor awards banquet April 22nd.
