Application Process

Eligibility

  1. Students must have a 3.0 GPA.
  2. Students must attend an information session:
    Tuesday, February 7 OR Monday, February 13 at 5:30pm in 0012 FSB.
  3. Please note that priority will be given to business majors, followed by business minors for this program.
  4. Students must be at least 18 years old by the program departure date.
  5. Students must meet the FSB Disciplinary Policy standards. All applicants must submit a disciplinary waiver form.  Acceptance to a program will be based, in part, on a review of each student’s disciplinary records. The nature of the offense, date of the offense, and disciplinary status will be considered. Students on disciplinary probation may not participate in a Farmer School of Business study abroad program.   • Priority Application Deadline: February 27, 2017
  • Interview Dates: March 8-10, 2017
  • Notification Date: Notification emails will be sent out by March 15, 2017

A Completed Application is:

  • A disciplinary waiver form signed electronically online
  • Motivation letter
  • An advising meeting completed with either Kim Suellau or Jenni Kim or 1022 FSB Academic Advisor
  • The deposit for this program is $2,500, due March 30, 2017. The deposit is refundable until April 15.
  • The remaining program fee balance of $3,000 is due June 15, 2017.
  • The tuition portions of the program will be billed by the Miami University’s One Stop Office, according to normal winter and spring term billing cycles.
