Courses and Requirements

Fall semester expectations

During the fall semester there will be 3-4 mandatory pre-departure meetings. These meetings will address background learning, required forms, and travel preparation.

Phase 1

BUS 420F (3cr) - Business, Economy, and Culture in China and Korea*

  • This is the first course in Thematic Sequence
  • This is a Miami Course; grade counts into GPA

Phase 2

BUS 420R (1cr) - Winter Olympic Volunteer Experience*

  • This is a Miami Course; grade counts into GPA

Phase 3: Courses at Yonsei-Wonju

All of these courses are Yonsei University courses, and will be considered transfer credit at Miami. Grades will not count into your GPA.

  1. YHS 1019 (3cr) - Korean Culture Experience*
  2. YHS 1013/1015/1017 (3cr) - Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced Korean Conversation*
