Upon graduation, Martin joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland where a majority of his efforts are currently dedicated towards Dodd-Frank Act Stress Testing and Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review activities; these initiatives evaluate the capital planning processes and capital adequacy of the largest U.S.-based bank holding companies, including the firms' planned capital actions such as dividend payments, share buybacks and issuances.

During his time at Miami University, Martin participated in two Farmer School summer programs (Southeast Asia and Costa Rica) and was an active member of the Concert Board of Campus Activities Council and the Alpha Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau.
