Kristin Conatti, a Cleveland native, is a 2008 graduate of the Farmer School of Business, graduating with a Marketing degree. After leaving Miami University, Kristin joined Steelcase Inc, which is the largest office furniture manufacturer and workplace research company in the world based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After and intensive training program in Michigan she joined their sales team focused on the Architecture and Design community in New York City. Three years later she moved across the globe with Steelcase as their key Global Account Manager for the Asia Pacific region based in Singapore where the career focus was to increase sales, exposure and services to some of Steelcase’s biggest multi-national clients around the Asia Pacific region. In 2014, Kristin returned to the US and resides in Cincinnati running sales in the market as a Strategic Account Manager. Almost all of her spare time is spent traveling both domestically and internationally as well as spending time with her rescue dog, Ted.

Brent Curtis currently works at American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM). As part of the Lean Business Process Team, Brent helps AAM achieve operational excellence and enterprise-wide business process improvement. The team also helps manage a global, multi-year ERP system implementation project.

AAM is a leading, Tier-One global automotive supplier of driveline and drivetrain systems and related components for light trucks, SUVs, passenger cars, crossover vehicles and commercial vehicles. Brent joined AAM in 2013 as part of their Leadership Development (CGIT) Program, gaining experience through domestic and international roles in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales and Finance.

At Miami, Brent was actively involved with professional organizations including Pi Sigma Epsilon, China-America Business Organization (CABO) and the Center for Business Excellence (CBE). He served as President of CABO for two terms and co-founded CBE's Student Leadership Development Experience.

Brent and his wife Kristyn (Miami '13) reside in the Detroit Metro Area.

In 2012 Garrett continued to Unilever's Slimfast and Dove Men + Care brands while earning his MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business. Currently Garrett is the Brand Manager of Tyson Foods’ flagship frozen poultry business.

During his career, Garrett has focused on both the brand development and the brand building of beauty, personal care, and food products.

While at Miami, Garrett was a member of the Pi Sigma Epsilon business fraternity and became a passionate Redhawks hockey fan.

Sophia Fifner has over seven years of experience working in both the private and public sectors as a development and communications professional. Some of her most noteworthy experiences include working as a Senate staffer on Capitol Hill, and working as a political fundraiser for a prominent Fortune 100 company.

Currently, Sophia is the Development Director of Corporate Philanthropy at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. As the primary liaison between Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and Nationwide Children's, Sophia works with national and regional corporate partners by cultivating local cause marketing campaigns and fundraising events. Additionally, Sophia is also responsible for several popular central Ohio fundraising events such as the Sunny 95 Radio Marathon, the Radio One Radiothon, BuckeyeThon, and the 10TV telethon.

Sophia holds a B.A. in Organizational Communication from Miami University of Ohio, and a M.S. in Marketing & Communications from Franklin University. She is an alumna of the John Glenn School of Public Affairs' NEW Leadership program, and Miami University’s Inside Washington program. Sam Korach was a recent graduate of Miami University with a B.S. in Sociology & Accounting and an M.S. in Accountancy. While at Miami, he was involved on campus as a student career assistant, ACC 221 TA, VP Finance for Delta Sigma Pi, and EY research fellow.

Sam began his career with EY as an intern in their Assurance practice, performing substantive and analytics-based audit testing with travel & leisure clients in Brisbane, AU. He rejoined EY as a strategy consultant in Chicago, IL with EYs Health Sector. Large projects included strategic growth planning, enterprise cost reduction, transaction advisory and business model canvasing for a variety of top payer, provider, and pharmaceutical organizations.

In October of 2016, Sam was appointed the Startups, Disruption and Innovation Manager for EYs Growth Markets team. EY Growth Markets is a practice dedicated to serving the unique needs of high-growth companies to help them grow into market leaders. The Startups, Disruption & Innovation team is solely focused on accelerating entrepreneurs by enabling them with critical tools, advice & expertise for success.

Sam is also seconded to Cintrifuse, a public-private partnership whose mission is to transform Cincinnati into the premier startup / innovation hub in the Midwest. There, Sam acts as an advisor-in-residence to Cintrifuse’s corporate innovation program and as a project director / co-founder of Spry Labs, a healthcare venture-building studio turning ideas into vetted business concepts and prototypes in a short period of time.

Sam is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has published work with the Journal for Applied Business Research and the USA Today. Sam was recently asked to serve on the boards of the William Isaac and Michael J. Oxley Center for Business Leadership and the Young Professionals Advisory Council (YPAC) at Miami University.

Here Katherine helped with the design and implementation of security measures for ERP systems, specifically regarding segregation of duties. While at Deloitte, Katherine was also responsible for evaluation of IT risk and controls in a variety of environments.
