Farmer School named one of the best values in business education

January 2019

Not long after Poets and Quants said that the Farmer School of Business was one of the top 20 public undergraduate business schools in the U.S., the Farmer School has also been named one of the nation’s best values among undergraduate business schools.

Value Colleges listed the Farmer School among the 50 undergrad programs that provide the highest overall return on investment based on publisher and student reviews, annual total costs, and early career salary data.

“Most of the schools on this list will describe themselves as tight-knit, close, collegial, and competitive, and these are the features you look for in a good business school -- the kind of qualities that will mean a lifetime of colleagues and peers you can turn to when you need partners, employees, and employers,” Value Colleges said.

In ranking the Farmer School 38th, Value Colleges said, “Miami University’s undergraduate business programs are some of the finest in the Midwest -- not South Florida, but Oxford, OH. Students choose majors from the eight departments of the Farmer School of Business, one of the top business schools in US higher education, as well as numerous minors, and special themes, as well as workshops and extracurricular groups. From economics and entrepreneurship to supply chain and operations management, Miami’s Farmer School is on the forefront of business education.”
