3 in 4 grads say they were hired by first choice employer

As part of their annual ranking of undergraduate business schools, Poets & Quants surveyed alumni about whether they found work three months after graduation in the industries they desired and for the companies they targeted, and the answer for 2018 Farmer School grads was a resounding “Yes!”

The Farmer School ranked 17th among publics for percentage of graduates seeking full time positions being employed within three months of graduation, and approximately three of four grads stated they had been hired by their first choice of employer.

Farmer School Dean Marc Rubin noted, “The Farmer School is dedicated to ensuring our students’ success. That includes what happens after they graduate, so we make certain our students have multiple opportunities to interact and network with the leaders of hundreds of companies and complete real-world projects for actual clients so that they are beyond ready for the next step in their journey.”

Ryan Hodapp of EY added his perspective as a college recruiter for EY, “They’re some of the best business school students that we ever get. Every year, the students come out of Farmer more and more impressive, more and more polished, in comparison to other schools. You can’t beat it. There’s a reason why we hire over 100 students every year from Miami. It speaks to what the school does for students at Farmer.”
