Business Legal Studies Track: 

  • For the track requirement, BLS 437 and BLS 464 are required.
  • For the track requirement, required electives include 8 hours of the following courses: ACC 343, BLS 443, BLS 462, BLS 465, BLS 477 (up to 3 hours), ECO 325, ECO 385, MGT 402, POL/WGS 347 or POL 352 or POL 353 or POL 363.
  • BLS 465 may satisfy the Business Capstone and Track Requirement.
  • Only one non-business course may apply to the Track Requirement.
  • MGT 402 may satisfy the Diversity and Track Requirement.

Entrepreneurship Track:

  • For the track requirement, ESP 251 and ESP 401 or 461 are required.
  • For the track requirement, required electives include 8 hours of the following courses: ESP 201, 252, 321, 331, 341, 351, 401 or 461 (if not used as required track course above), 477 (up to 3 hours), 481, or 490.
  • **BLS 442 is required for International and Business Legal Studies Tracks; BLS 442 or 437 are required for Entrepreneurship track.
  • ESP 401 or 461 may satisfy the Business Capstone and Track Requirement.
  • ESP 321 or 461 may satisfy the Experiential Learning requirement for the Global Miami Plan.

International Track:

  • For the track requirement, BUS 371 or 373 and ECO 344 are required.
  • For the track requirement, required electives include 8 hours of the following courses: BLS 464, BUS 420, FIN 417, IMS/ENG 416, MGT 304, and MKT 425 or other courses approved by the International Business Advisor.
  • MGT 304 may satisfy the Diversity and Track Requirement.

General Requirements:

  • All students must earn 128 hours to graduate; minimum of 64 hours of non-business coursework required.
  • A 2.0 GPA overall and 2.0 GPA in business are required to graduate.
  • FSB students must select a thematic sequence outside the School of Business (ISA 2 is the only exception to this rule). You must declare your thematic sequence; contact sponsoring department to do so.
  • Pre-requisite information available in the Miami Bulletin.
  • Diversity courses may meet GMP Intercultural Perspectives.
  • Most FSB students satisfy GMP Experiential Learning with an internship; students must register for BUS, ESP, or BLS 340 to complete this requirement.
