Departmental Notes:

  • A 2.0 GPA in all ACC courses is required to graduate.
  • Business Electives requirement is 6 hours at the 200 level or above and must include 1 course outside the Department of Accountancy.
  • Business Capstones cannot be applied to Business Elective requirement.
  • At least 4 required 300/400 level ACC courses must be completed at Miami.
  • Eligibility for the CPA exam requires 150 semester hours in most states. Other requirements vary by state; visit the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy for links to state-by-state details.

  • Must earn 124 hours to graduate; minimum of 52 hours of non-business coursework required.
  • 2.0 GPA overall and 2.0 GPA in business required to graduate.
