Pat joined Miami University in 2001 as a Program Manager, designing non-credit community programs such as Kids-in-College. Prior to this position, Pat spent 16 years at the Reynolds & Reynolds Company in Dayton, leading a team responsible for the product development, product support, marketing and sales of a $6 million product line. Having served 20+ years in the private sector, Pat gained first-hand experience developing a “corporate university” for internal staff development including tracks on such things as project management, team building, customer service, change management, and leadership.

Currently serving as Senior Director for Miami’s Corporate & Community Institute, Pat is responsible for directing the department’s mission of providing quality, innovative, and sustainable workforce development programs for both businesses and individuals. Pat is responsible for establishing key partnerships with Miami’s faculty, expert consultants, colleges and universities, and various state agencies so that Miami is poised to help area employers achieve greater success through a skilled workforce. 

Pat is very active with local chambers and the Courier's Bizwomen cabinet. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati and an Associate Degree in Business from Miami University. She is a member of the American Society of Training & Development, the Society of Human Resource Managers and LERN (an international organization for lifelong learning professionals), earning LERN’s Certified Program Planner and Contract Trainer designations.     

Tina CrockettTina Crockett 
Administrative Assistant

Since 1999, Tina Crockett has served as Administrative Assistant for the Corporate and Community Institute. In this role, Tina provides administrative support for matters associated with training and development programs, seminars, continuing education and workshops. Additionally, Tina provides budget and accounting support for the office.

Prior to joining the CCI team, Tina served for nine years as an account associate in the Office of the Bursar at Miami University Middletown. In her spare time, Tina enjoys an active life that includes spending time with her family, her involvement in her church, physical fitness, and travel.
