Molly Heidemann

Molly HeidemannMolly Heidemann has supported the growing population of international students and scholars at Miami University since 2008. She provides leadership and strategic planning for the ISSS unit, advises visiting scholars, facilitates workshops for campus partners on supporting our international students, and oversees Miami’s compliance with the Department of Homeland Security. In addition to numerous cities in mainland China, Molly has traveled to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Iraq, Turkey, Ecuador, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Canada. Originally from Sidney, Ohio, she earned her B.S. in Psychology from Xavier University in Cincinnati and went on to obtain her M.A. in Social Science from the University of Chicago, where she focused on Arabic students' attitudes toward counseling. Molly loves drinking Chinese tea (primarily oolong), hiking, playing with her dog Maisy, and eating popcorn.
