HWC Announces Winners of Spring Poetry Contest
Results are in for the Howe Writing Center's Spring 2022 poetry contest, Colors. Olivia Triance (Biology and Individualized Studies) took first-prize honors. Runner-up and the staff choice was Catarina Palmer (Biochemistry and Premedical Studies) with graduate student Ashlee Flora (School Psychology) in third place.

Winners of the HWC's Spring Writing Contest
Results are in for the Howe Writing Center's Spring 2022 creative non-fiction writing contest, Luck + Chance. Meredith Perkins (Creative Writing and Diplomacy and Global Politics) took first-prize honors. Runner-up was Sofia Rakic (Psychology and Philosophy) with Olivia Kelly (Linguistics and Spanish) in third place. Graduate student, JoAnn Su, (Health, Education, and Society) earned staff choice recognition.

Results are in for the Howe Writing Center's Fall 2021 Flash Photo Fiction contest. Em Updyke (Marketing) took first-prize honors. Runner-up was Sam Fouts (Creative Writing) with Dalanie Beach (Creative Writing) in third place. Valerie Senkowski (Health, Education, and Society) earned staff choice recognition and Charles Xie (Chemistry) earned an honorable mention.
