Where in the World is Miami Wednesday: Meet an App Developer at MUDEC
In this week's Where in the World is Miami Wednesday, we meet Jackson, a sophomore middle childhood education major with focuses in science and social studies and a history minor who is studying abroad at MUDEC this semester. Jackson has been an integral part in creating and developing content for a new app called Spoticle, a travel guide to Europe created for MUDEC students based on recommendations of past MUDEC students.

Miami student receives Boren Scholarship
Max Micheli, a sophomore at Miami, was recently awarded the Boren Scholarship. This award is given to students studying less commonly taught languages, so they can develop their language skills abroad.

Studying abroad while studying abroad
For the over 3,000 international students at Miami University, their time in Oxford or at the regional campuses in Hamilton and Middletown is a study abroad experience. Because of this, many of these students don’t see a need to study abroad while they’re at Miami. Two Chinese students who studied in Luxembourg share their stories about why they chose to go abroad for a semester.
