  • I am not a U.S. citizen. Should I complete the International Student Application for Graduate Admission?
  • How can I check the status of my application?  Can I check it on-line?
  • How can I be considered for a graduate assistantship or other financial assistance from Miami University?  Are additional application forms required for this?
  • I am applying for a graduate assistantship. Do I still need to complete the International Graduate Student Financial Statement form?
  • The language of instruction where I completed my Bachelor's degree was English. Do I still need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score with my application?
  • What are the minimum test scores that are required for admission?
  • What is the minimum grade point average (g.p.a.) that is required for admission into the Graduate School?
  • Is conditional admission offered?

Newly Admitted

  • I have just been admitted to Miami University. What should I do next?
  • My admission letter states that I will receive my "final" admission letter upon submission of additional documents. What if I am unable to submit these documents to you immediately because they are not yet available?
  • Do I have to take any English placement tests after arriving at Miami?
  • I am a newly admitted international graduate student who has been living in Ohio for some time. Will I be considered an Ohio resident for tuition purposes?
