Events for Fellows Graduates

We offer ongoing services and support for all our Howe Faculty Writing Fellows graduates to help them implement, assess, and adjust the changes they began in the Fellows program. The intent of these post-spring semester workshops is to provide Fellows with dedicated time and support to complete projects for their courses and programs. Assignment or Course Redesign Intensive Workshop

An opportunity for Fellows to engage in conversation with other program graduates about course and assignment design. Participants will meet for four mornings at the end of the spring semester and receive $200 in professional development funds upon completion of the materials. Disciplinary Writing Guide Hands-On Workshop

Come with members of your Fellows team and work with our staff to create a set of materials about writing in your discipline that can be publicized on the HCWE website and used in your own courses. For Fellows Graduates Chairs and Directors: Leadership and Change Reading Group

Chairs and program directors who have participated in the Howe Faculty Writing Fellows Program are invited to a reading and discussion group intended to help members consider how they can support innovative changes in their programs.

  • Books we’ll read: How Colleges Change and Leading Change
  • Intensive group discussion on dates to be determined, convenient for attendees
  • Receive $250 in professional development funds upon completion
