Admission

Eligibility

Students planning to apply to the Miami University Dolibois European Center (MUDEC) program should meet the following requirements:

  • GPA at or above 2.5
  • Outstanding disciplinary record
  • Enrollment at Miami University (or another accredited university) for two semesters prior to attending MUDEC
  • Technical sophomore standing. Those who have enough credits but have not attended college for a full year should contact Mr. Jordan Land (landjm@miamioh.edu)

In addition to GPA and campus involvement, students will be evaluated based on the strength of their essay and letter of recommendation.

Timing

All students at Miami University and accredited U.S. universities are encouraged to participate in the MUDEC program after having completed at least two semesters of college.

Your choice of term may be dependent upon your major and the sequencing of classes. Most students will study at MUDEC during their sophomore or junior year. Some students enjoy taking one semester of their senior year abroad.

Be sure to check with your academic advisor, then plan to apply 6 months to a year in advance of when you would like to go.
