Oct 25, 2010Students wishing to major in business who are admitted to Miami for Fall 2011 will receive direct admission into the Farmer School if they meet the following minimum criteria:
- 29 ACT or 1290 SAT (CR+M) and
- 3.7 GPA (4.0 scale) or top 10% class rank
Named one of the best undergraduate business schools in the U.S. (6th best public, 16th best overall) by Business Week in 2010, the Farmer School will expect you to get out of your comfort zone, invite you to ask the hard questions, and challenge you to create your own knowledge. Even our new state-of-the-art building—a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified facility—represents the qualities we instill in our graduates: creative, ethical, collaborative, analytical, and optimistic.
Miami gives undergraduates many opportunities to work with senior faculty on research projects and to participate in international programs. The business program gives students a broad background in all business disciplines. The Farmer School of Business offers 8 majors and 16 minors. Each program of study is housed within six academic departments.
