King earns certified professional catering title

Don King, executive director for Carillon Catering at Shriver Center, earned the distinction of Certified Professional Catering Executive after successfully completing an accreditation exam this fall. He is the first person in Ohio to hold the CPCE title from the National Association of Catering Executives.

King, hired in 2001 as catering manager, was promoted to executive director of Carillon Catering in 2005. Carillon recently revised its menu and added more value options for customers. King said the new menu includes more dishes with international flavor.
