Crime Alert: Burglary in Minnich Hall

01/12/2009

Miami University police alert the community to a burglary in Minnich Hall.

A female student reported that at about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11, while she was asleep in her room, a male subject entered her unlocked residence in Minnich Hall, awakening her. The subject left the room after repeatedly being told to leave. The student then locked her door; she reports that a short while later someone knocked at her door for a long time. The student was unharmed. The suspect is described as a white male, college-aged, 6 feet or taller, skinny build, short dark hair and wearing jeans and a dark T-shirt.

The incident was reported to the Miami University police, who are investigating.
