Potential members of Miami’s class of 2013 and their families will visit the Oxford campus for special programs on 12 days between Feb. 27 and April 27. These visits by accepted students help them decide if they want to attend Miami in the fall. Please help welcome these visitors to campus by offering a friendly greeting, or helping with directions.
The Celebrate Miami programs are March 23 and 30, April 6, 17 and 27. This half-day program helps accepted students learn about the Miami experience. They’ll meet student ambassadors, faculty and staff; be advised on ‘next steps’ in the enrollment process; have the opportunity to visit with representatives from academic divisions; and be offered optional tours.
The Admitted Student Information Sessions are Feb 27, March 6, 20 and 27, April 3, 10 and 24. Students and parents who are somewhat familiar with Miami can learn more about services and opportunities available to students. An hour-long information session and campus tour will highlight Miami's strengths, including academics, residence life and student activities. Visitors also have the opportunity to talk with current Miami students about transition to college.
