Lecture to discuss Buddhism perspectives on gender identity/sexual orientation


Liz Wilson, professor of comparative religion, will present a talk about "Queer Buddhists: What does Buddhism have to say about sexual orientation and gender identity?" at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, in 336 Shriver Center.

Wilson, a specialist in Indian Buddhism and gender studies, will discuss some of the major gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender figures in the contemporary Buddhist community.
