As the new Miami BuyWay purchasing conversion project continues, new procedures are now in effect, including small package deliveries.
Beginning in January and while conversion from Banner Web to Miami BuyWay takes place, offices ordering small packages from Miami Buyway will receive delivery directly from UPS or FedEx, as well as from university mail services to departments. Staff members who have received Miami Buyway training are asked to select an accurate delivery address from the system as part of the requisitioning process.
It is important to provide to all shippers used by departments accurate delivery addresses. Any department generated orders by P-card or small package items not associated with a purchase order should include accurate deliverable addresses.
