Miami University's faculty and staff members can attend two RedHawk athletic events for the price of one. Beginning Thursday, Nov. 10, faculty/staff can purchase tickets to watch the RedHawks men's basketball team tip-off the 2011-12 season against Dayton at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, and receive a comparable number of free tickets to attend and celebrate Miami's football season finale the following night against Western Michigan at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16.
Because of their special affiliation with the university, Miami’s faculty/staff can purchase their desired and unlimited number of Dayton basketball tickets at $25 each and get a similar number of tickets for the WMU football game, absolutely free.
Miami football season ticket holders may also request additional ticket(s) to the WMU football game, equivalent to their number of season tickets.
Season tickets for Miami men’s basketball are available. The RedHawks' 14-game home schedule includes eight Mid-American Conference games, including a home contest against arch-rival Ohio, four men’s-women’s doubleheaders, plus non-conference contests against Dayton, Wright State, Belmont, Evansville, William & Mary, and an ESPN BracketBuster game in February.
In addition to the full-season ticket package, Miami also is offering a Five-Game Plan, which features one game per month: Nov. 15 vs. Dayton, Dec. 17 vs. Belmont, Jan. 7 vs. Akron, Feb. 11 vs. Central Michigan and March 2 vs. Ohio. The Five-Game Plan is $80 and also includes a hot dog and a drink for each game, and a Miami hat. Fans that purchase the Five-Game Plan also are eligible for a comparable number of tickets to the WMU football game.
Miami’s athletic ticket office, located at Millett Hall, will begin taking orders from faculty/staff members on Thursday 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and continue sales through Tuesday's season opener vs. Dayton. Faculty/staff must have their university identification cards when placing orders.
Online orders may also be transacted on Miami's athletic website, www.MURedHawks.com.
