Miami University's Project Dragonfly and the Cincinnati Zoo host the annual Earth Expeditions World Community Conference, a free conference celebrating education and conservation, Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. The conference, zoo admission and parking are free to those who register.

The conference will showcase the work of educators who have conducted inquiry projects at the Cincinnati Zoo, at conservation sites around the world and in classrooms throughout the country. Breakout sessions will cover Miami’s Earth Expeditions 2012 graduate courses and the Advanced Inquiry Program, a master’s degree program with courses online and at the zoo.

Register online for the conference.

Earth Expeditions is a global conservation and education program supporting university courses, degree programs and collaborative projects in Africa, Asia, Australia and the Americas. Applications for Earth Expeditions 2012 program are due Jan. 28.
